Childrens book - Test page

I know I don't put new art up here very often, certainly not as much as I should, so I thought I'd put this up here to show I am doing something... it's not entirely finished, and it's the first page I've done, so I'll probably end up changing quite a bit... but I'm fairly happy with it I think...
My new drawing tablet I got for Christmas makes shading and things a lot easier and faster, although I think I need to get a new computer as mine is often having a lot of trouble and overheating constantly... poor thing's probably getting a bit old, I've had it for a long time...

So yeah, I am still working on other things, (I work best with two or three projects on the go at any one time, so when I get stressed and depressed with one there's another different one I can work on), I'm also writing a book, which is very different from anything I submit here, it's not fantasy or anything... I never know quite how to describe it... it's got bits of a murder mystery, bits of romance, little bits of comedy (I like to think), bits of drama and other stuff... I've almost finished it, but I've been saying that for quite a while, there are still some annoying things I have to work out that I've been trying to figure out for months, mostly names, I'm terrible at naming things, the book still doesn't have a satisfactory name... but then it's probably not ever going to be published or anything... I still need to finish it though...

Listen to me blabbering on, anyway, it's 2am and I need to go to bed...
